  17. <p>     If living well is the best revenge, forcing your boss to
  18. fork over $750,000 has got to be a close second. That is the
  19. amount Philadelphia-based brokerage Janney Montgomery Scott
  20. must pay gambling-industry analyst Marvin Roffman, according
  21. to a decision last week by a New York Stock Exchange
  22. arbitration panel. Roffman's complaint: that Janney had fired
  23. him as a result of pressure from self-styled dealmeister Donald
  24. Trump.

  26. <p>     When Trump launched his colossal Taj Mahal casino in
  27. Atlantic City a year ago, a Wall Street Journal article quoted
  28. a skeptical Roffman as saying that "once the cold winds blow
  29. from October to February, it won't make it." Trump threatened
  30. to sue Janney if Roffman did not apologize. The analyst
  31. refused, and Janney dismissed him, citing "violations of
  32. company policy." As for Trump, whose Taj Mahal has felt the
  33. cold wind and is flirting with insolvency, Roffman is suing him
  34. for $2 million.
